Founded
The Marston Green Club was founded on the 17.08.1947 by a number of gentlemen from the local areas of Coleshill, Castle Bromwich and Marston Green.

Registered
The club was registered as Marston Green Social Club & Institute Ltd on 15.10.1947 under the Industrial and Providence Societies Act 1893.
Whiteacres
Early committee meetings were held at the home of founder Jack Bartlett SNR, and the George & Dragon (Coleshill) until the 29.10.1947 when 'Whiteacres' was acquired.

1966
Marston Green Club Ltd
The club changed its name on 15.03.1966 under the Industrial & Providence Societies Acts 1965.
Extension
In 1981 work began to extend the main function room to create an impressive space that can comfortably accommodate over 150, and a stage for live entertainment.

2008
Fire
On 06.06.2008 a fire broke out in the club and ripped through the building. The club was subsequently closed for 6 months, re-opening just in time for Christmas 2008.
Today
The club continues to go from strength to strength. With over 500 members and a dedicated committee, the future of our fantastic club is looking bright.
